Run Office 2003 and Office 2010

Change regedit to remove the "Configuring Office" delay each time you start Office 2010 or Office 2003

Method 1 If you have a previous version of Office installed, such as Office 2003 or Office 2007, follow these steps:

1. Click Start
2. Run
3. Type the following command, and then press Enter:

reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Word\Options /v NoReReg /t REG_DWORD /d 1
